Bus Transfers To and From Asheville Airport

Buses are Asheville's public transit, giving commuters a more convenient and accessible transfer service to and from Asheville Airport.

Asheville Rides Transit (ART) and Apple Country Public Transit offer bus services within Asheville, North Carolina, and neighboring areas.

The Asheville Rides Transit provides bus services throughout the City of Asheville and to the town of Black Mountain, Mondays to Saturdays from 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM and every holiday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

All routes originate from the ART Transit Station, located at 49 Coxe Avenue in downtown Asheville (next to the U.S. Post Office). The ART Transit Station provides restrooms, indoor and outdoor seating, and an on-duty information assistant until 9:30 PM.

Meanwhile, the Apple Country Public Transit also provides bus transportation throughout the City of Hendersonville, Town of Fletcher, and Laurel Park with three bus routes, operating from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Mondays to Fridays, except during holidays and severe weather on a 1-hour cycle.

Routes originate from the Transfer Site, located at the corner of 4th and Grove Street in downtown Hendersonville next to the 1995 Henderson County Courthouse. Henderson County contracts with WNCSource (formerly WCCA/Western Carolina Community Action) to provide transit and paratransit services.
